Leadership is the difference maker and the
deal breaker. It’s how we grow organizations. It’s how we impact lives.
But, as you also know, leadership cannot be an idea we simply talk about;
leadership is the action we must live out.
Like most important challenges in life we all
need help in reaching our potential and living our dreams. How to get there
from here? One excellent way is through a relationship with a certified life
coach.
Why is
it important for you to have a life coach? There are some who erroneously
believe that experience is the best guide. I would disagree with that
perspective. I believe that guided
experience is the best guide! Just think of the time, money, and emotional
energy you can save by securing the services of a person who most likely knows
what you are feeling and has a good grasp on how to lead you into a positive
experience. What kind of guided experience do I offer?
As a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher,
and Speaker, I can offer you quality workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, and
coaching, aiding your personal and professional growth through study and
practical application of John’s proven leadership methods. Working together, I
will move you and/or your team or organization in the desired direction to
reach your goals. In addition, through Quality Leadership Consultants, I can
help you in life transitions (i.e., career changes, legacy building) as well as
with life training skills (such as burnout prevention, spiritual growth,
spiritual healing).
My vocational mission is to add value to
others by Equipping Quality Leaders who will then be able to present Quality
Ideas that will produce Quality Changes in other Quality Leaders and in their
Organizations. On the spiritual side, I am passionate about making disciples.
In fact, my life mission is to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ and inspire
others to do the same.
As a result of a Bachelor’s Degree in
Political Science, a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry and a Doctorate in
Personal and Organizational Leadership I know how to implement a relational approach
that consistently moves people and organizations towards targeted goals. I know
how to help leaders practice the kind of self-care that not only benefits them
personally but also adds value to their organization. Over the past 38 years I’ve invested my life in people who
have learned how to integrate the very life-changing principles that I have
modeled.
As a seasoned marketplace manager,
professional writer, chairman of the board of a private school, and pastor I
have both the knowledge and practical experience to address a wide variety of challenges
that business and non-profit leaders face. I have worked in commissioned sales,
human resources, and volunteer recruitment. I am an innovator, especially when
it comes to creating environments of trust among a diverse group of people. I
really enjoy helping people discover their purpose and coach them as they
pursue it. I have written extensively on spiritual formation, which is both in
print as well as an ongoing blog.
I am the husband of a wonderful wife (Trish)
and the dad to two awesome adult children (Andrew and Corrie).
As an experienced leader I have come to learn
and embrace this truth: the more I learn, the more I need to know. Leadership
is a growing aspect of everyone’s life. In the past, other great leaders have
invested in me. Now, I have a responsibility to pass on what I know to those
who are looking to grow in their leadership gifts too. This is why I am a
member of the John Maxwell Team: to pass on these great nuggets of leadership truth
to leaders who desire to grow so that they may pass them on to others also.
I want to add value to your life! |
